First owner had a Prop Strike in 2009 – Western Airways Tear-Down Inspection – New Prop

General Condition:

This aircraft is in Almost NEW condition

Owner Notes:

- Located in Utah

- Note: For a short period prior to rolling out the aluminum upgrade, American Champion produced a landing-gear attachment hardware kit that upgraded the payload to 1,950#’s using the original steel landing gear and that’s what was installed on N-139AC.

- Weight & Balance:

Max Gross Weight = 1950.0 lbs.
Empty Weight = 1336.82
Useful Load = 613.18
Empty Weight C.G. = 11.546

- Acrobatic MTOW:

Whether you have the mounting-hardware update, as on N-139AC, or the newer factory-installed aluminium legs the Acro max weight doesn't change, it remains at 1800 lbs. At 175 lbs I'm able to remain within the acrobatic limits flying with full fuel. As far as flying acro with a passenger, the only experience I had with that was when I flew a 8KCAB for acrobatic training. On those days we would take-off with something at or less than 1/2 fuel to keep within the limits.
